When Emmy first joined our One Family community, her world felt just a little bit harder to navigate. She struggled with low muscle tone and delays in both fine and gross motor skills, making everyday activities feel like uphill climbs. Her language development and ability to grasp new concepts were also slower than her peers — and for her mom, that was heartbreaking.

“You just want your child to live up to their highest potential,” her mom shared. “I felt like I was failing her if I didn’t help her do that. I knew she had more potential than she was showing, and it was so frustrating not being able to help her through those challenges.”

Before finding us, Emmy had been in pediatric physical therapy, which helped her build some strength but didn’t address why her body was struggling to keep up. When her family found One Family Chiropractic, they immediately felt a shift.

“People started commenting on how her language was taking off,” her mom smiled. “She became an adventurous climber and so active outside — something she just didn’t have the strength or motivation for before.”

Today, Emmy is thriving. She’s lively, talkative, and imaginative — full of ideas, curiosity, and confidence. At school, she’s mastering the monkey bars, eagerly learning her letters and numbers, and showing the world exactly who she’s meant to be.
