Ice Skating. Harmonium. Tae Kwon Do. Softball. Track.
I did it ALL…and then QUIT.
Why was this such a common pattern with ME?
Was I a curious kid?
Was I not good?
Was I looking for something, that I did not have?
Did I get bored?
Lack of motivation?
A lot of questions that lead to ONE ANSWER
With grades being the most important factor of SUCCESS
I FELT LIKE I WAS NOT ENOUGH
So what did I do?
To find SUCCESS I did a lot of random stuff and thought…”maybe this will make up for me being “stupid” or “dumb”
If I got a dollar for the amount of times I told myself or I heard that.. “School is not Megha’s thing BUT she is good at this, this and this”
I would be ROLLING IN MONEY
So I told myself…I am dumb but I am going do as many things to MAKE UP FOR IT
Today’s generations and generations to come are telling themselves similar stories that I told myself growing up
If not academics, maybe sports, if not sports..maybe social skills?
The STORY of NOT BEING ENOUGH is a present day PROBLEM. YES, IT IS A PROBLEM
Why? Because we have SO MANY ROLES in our life
The kids in our offices are not ONLY students BUT friends, siblings, musicians, artists, athletes, etc.
The athletes in our office are not JUST “people that workout” but parents, wives, husbands, entrepreneurs, employees, etc.
The moms in our office are not ONLY “moms” AND wives, entrepreneurs, friends, aunts, sisters, etc.
You have the POSSIBILITY to be ENOUGH in all aspects of your life
It starts with the function of your BRAIN
The brain, to keep you going, takes resources from other parts of your brain so you can “TRY” TO DO IT ALL
